The Results Are In!!!!!!!!!!!
And the "Real Numbers" are.....(drum roll please)
The best hp number with the X-Ram...200hp (26 hp gain) the best torque number with the X-Ram 310 ft lbs (24 ft/lb gain).
The guys at the dyno shop and my car club are working on getting the before and after numbers posted on our web site and I will make a link to them as soon as they are up.
All in all, I am satisfied with the X-Ram. Looking at my dyno sheets, the X-Ram and Stock intake horse power numbers are pretty equal until you get to 3500 RPM's, after that is where the X-Ram makes its power and the graph lines really start to pull away from the stock lines.
We made one pull all the way to 5800 RPM's and I will probably make my new shift point at 5200 RPM's, after that the lines start to drop off.
For anyone thinking of buying an X-Ram, keep in mind that your results may vary some from mine, but a 25 hp gain should be achiveable with no problem and with some fine tuning (which I need to do yet) I think you can get about a 30 hp gain.
I am open for questions or comments!!
Mike
