Dolf, Only problem is that clevis is the wrong type. That one is for single carburetor.

It needs to be a clevis with 2 end shafts, and a special clip holds it to the rear carburetor throttle lever. You can see the pieces in that link in my previous post.

Here is a picture of a '56 which uses the same linkage up to '62, and the double shaft clevis is easier to see.



You can make a new shaft from a piece if steel rod, thread the end, then drill your existing clevis with threads on the flat end. Just use thread lock to ensure it never falls out. I have done this before on my old linkages.
