hello all,
sorry, i write in english 'cause faster (and sure of the content
)
i come from Milano and the situation in Italy is more than critical!
for each car younger than 5 years the owner has to pay EVERY year 20€ x KW above 185kw as super tax + normal tax (already expensive itself)
=> honda s200 (my previous car) : below super tax, so ONLY normal tax : 177kw = 580€/y
=> corvette z06 from 2008 : 377kw => around 5100€/y
=> all the people (in italy not all the people are mafiosi or like berlusconi, but many of them.. ;( ) who like me have the passion of engines, can't afford such costs:
(example of corvette z06:)
- tax = 5100€/year
- gasoline = > 2 €/liter (98 octane)
- insurance => full kasko > 3000€
and ON TOP: with new legislation the police are allowed to stop any car with engine > 3000cc and ask the owner to justify how does he earn the money to afford such car => many people who earn with black job (so w/o paying taxes) are getting rid of such cars.
=> in italy we can find very good condition cars @ cheap price! only you have to take care of who is selling them: service book, accidents... etc..
last but not least: in order to registrate the italian car in germany (as i did witrh the S2000) you also need the COC: Certificate of Conformity: like the ID-card of the car where there are written many data
at the end: if anybody needs a support with italian / for italian transaction / questions, just write me.
